5) Franklin Square
A carousel, Philly-themed mini golf course, an awesome playground, SquareBurger (a delicious shake shake), all around an awesome fountain. This is an all ages treat!

3) Sister Cities Park
This swatch of land at Logan Square maximizes its fun factor! Enjoy a snack or lunch at the café, explore in the children’s discovery garden, or splash around in the fountain & boat pond. Philadelphia has wisely turned its green spaces in to charming areas of fun for all!

2) Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse
Smith playground is nestled on an enormous (6.5 acre) piece of land in Fairmount Park. Enjoy the large playhouse that was built for play! Come slide down the GIANT slide on a burlap sack (grown ups love it too)! Bring kids 10 years old and younger for some unstructured, creative playtime!! *suggested $5 donation per group

1) Spruce Street Harbor Park
This pop up park was so popular, it’s BACK for 2016!! Local restaurants have stands with treats and meals to enjoy. Relax in one of the many hammocks while the kids run around in the grass, play extra-large checkers. Play a game of shuffle board right of the Delaware River. Rent a paddle boat! Take a loop around the roller-skating rink! Super awesome for the whole family!!
