The Townsend is a stunning property situated on the Cohansey River. Located near preserved pinelands, wetlands and lakes, there are countless opportunities for escaping into the wilderness. Nearby Bridgeton City Park, which is over 1,000 acres, features walking trails, picnic areas, playing fields, basketball courts, and a new 7,500 square foot Splash Park next to the Cohanzick Zoo, one of Cumberland County’s most visited attractions. The park also contains an outdoor amphitheater at Sunset Lake with a swimming beach, a network of guided nature trails, walking and wooded trails at Piney Point Woods, Mary Elmer Lake, playground areas, and tennis courts.

Capacity:
The house can host 14 guests and access to the home is limited to those 14. We can host up to a total of 100 for ceremony and reception.
Fees:
There is an additional $1000 event fee and we require event insurance, which can be purchased online, around $50-100.
Rentals:
Guest counts over 25 requires renters to source out port-o-potties. Our on-site car pad can hold a maximum of 6 cars. Additional tent and chair rentals are the responsibility of the renter.
